Waterloo East Neighbourhoods

Bridgeport

Bridgeport, with its quiet, tree-lined streets and well-maintained properties, offers a mix of charming homes from the 1950s and 60s along with modern housing developments. The neighbourhood is known for its scenic views, thanks to the encompassing Grand River and the iconic white stone bridge. Residents enjoy access to numerous parks, recreational areas, Bridgeport Sportsfields, and the Bridgeport Community Centre, home to one of Kitchener's largest community ice rinks. Despite having access to the Conestoga Parkway via Lancaster Street, Bridgeport is more suitable for residents with their own vehicles due to limited transit support.
